The 2015 Nez Perce Tribe Department of Fisheries Resources Management Symposium on Salmon Supplementation was held on February 10th-12th, 2015 at the Clearwater River Lodge & Casino in Lewiston, Idaho. The Nez Perce Tribe has been a leader in the development and operation of supplementation programs for spring/summer Chinook, fall Chinook and coho salmon in the Snake River basin. The purpose of the symposium was to disseminate project information and provide scientifically sound adaptive management recommendations. Reviews of each supplementation program included the presentation of project activities including hatchery operations, monitoring and evaluation results and adaptive management recommendations. Additional invited speakers presented related studies detailing life history, genetic and hatchery/wild interactions associated with the supplementation programs. Nez Perce Tribe supplementation programs reviewed in this symposium included:
